Just like any other piece of technology, Glass isn’t a piece of artwork that’s meant only to be stared at through a protective translucent box. (If you want to do that, of course, feel free.) Glass is designed to be used — and used so that it enhances the life of the person who wears it.
The old promise that technology will make our lives easier doesn’t mean that we don’t have to take time out of our lives to get the latest operating-system (OS) updates that add new features and fix bugs. At least Google has made updating as easy and unobtrusive as possible. You can do the job yourself or let Glass do the work, as you see in this chapter.
