Setting Up Connected Accounts

You have the option to hook up other social media services to Google using the Connected accounts. Google points out three advantages:

+ When you search, you can see relevant content your friends have shared on the web.

+ You make it easier for Google to find the stuff you share on the web and connect it to you in its search products.

+ You can choose which accounts to show on your public Google profile.

Google won’t share the things you’ve searched for in Google without your consent. But even so, you might want to be careful when connecting too much of your personal social media to your Google account.
