AdWords Editor is a free desktop tool provided by Google that enables you to manage your account even when you are offline. If you've ever suffered from a slow Internet connection, you can appreciate how much time that feature alone can save. And about 99 percent of what you can see and do in the online AdWords interface can also be viewed and accomplished within AdWords Editor. (Let's just call it Editor for the rest of this chapter, shall we?) But rather than show you how to use Editor to do everything, this chapter shares just two AdWords tasks: cloning campaigns and managing bids. The former takes seconds in Editor and potentially hours online; the latter can be done elegantly in Editor with just some basic preparation and a few minutes per month.
