A critical ability to have in your toolset of business skills is the ability to negotiate. This isn't a skill only applied to business environments, but pretty much every area of life. Being a good negotiator allows you to turn unfavorable situations to your advantage, whether it be the house chores you are expected to do or how much you are being paid by a client for your work.
