Gorgonia is a library that facilitates efficient mathematical operations for the purposes of building deep neural networks. It operates on the fundamental understanding that neural networks are mathematical expressions. As such it is quite easy to build neural networks using Gorgonia.
A note on the chapters: Because Gorgonia is a relatively huge library, parts of this chapter will elide over some things about Gorgonia but will be expanded upon in the next chapter, as well as another Packt book, Hands On Deep Learning in Go.
