Don’t Start a Business, Start a Marketing Campaign

Don’t panic, I haven’t got you to this point in the book only to tell you not to start a business. I’m not that cruel.

At the very beginning I told you to start by identifying a customer. This chapter takes that one step further. I am going to suggest that, having shown you can get one customer, you need to start a marketing campaign and demonstrate that you can get customers consistently. Even better, you will be able to work out how much each customer costs to find and then improve your cost per acquisition. This will allow you to see if the campaign is sustainable.
