PLANNING

I am not a big planner. I like to act and then adapt and change based on feedback, but I am aware that for people who struggle to take action, the way that they plan a business can help them make that leap. So, to encourage you to act, we are going to do some planning.

Fail to Plan and You Plan to Fail

You need to weigh up the pros, the cons, the challenges that you may face and the opportunities that lie ahead of you.

Beware that planning can often be used as an excuse not to act; another thing to put in the way of the real work. This can be a major barrier to action, so you should avoid making excuses to delay taking action, as I have been trying to emphasise throughout the book so far.
