The Editors
Suman Gupta is Professor of Literature and Cultural History, The Open University, UK. He is also, at present, Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Roehampton University; Visiting Professor at the Centre for Cross-Cultural Studies, Peking University; and Adjunct Professor of the Institute of North American and European Studies, Tehran University. As Principal Coordinator of the GIPSC Project, and as Co-Director of the Ferguson Centre for African and Asian Studies between 2006 and 2008, he has coordinated numerous international collaborative projects, including in India, China, Iran, Morocco, Nigeria, and Bulgaria.
