Public-Private Partnership and the Prospects of Inclusive Growth in Higher Education

The motto of the 11th Five Year Plan is ‘faster and more inclusive growth’. The objective of the Plan is two-fold. It seeks to put the economy on a sustainable growth trajectory with a growth rate of approximately 10 per cent by the end of the plan period. It also seeks to reduce disparities across regions and communities. This is sought to be achieved by ensuring access to basic physical infrastructure as well as health and education services to all.
