ACCESS TO INFORMATION REGARDING EUROCLEAR SECURITIES
Euroclear Bank has an informative website, but it does not provide details of securities eligible for settlement in Euroclear either on the website or by any other generally available mechanism. Euroclear members can obtain this information through the Euclid interface or by using the SWIFT network, which is open to banks and other financial institutions. (Other financial services companies are only able to obtain this information through their settlement agents with Euroclear membership.)
It should be noted that the CREST system (as described in the next section), which is owned by Euroclear Bank, does provide through its website details of securities that are eligible to settle in CREST. This will include depositary receipts, which are English law interests in international securities.
