Obliviousness or hostility to diversity wouldn't be the conclusion drawn if you canvassed the Web sites of major corporations. There, diversity jargon runs rampant, along with what often turns out to be empty platitudes and even emptier promises.

A gaping chasm exists between what companies purport to be and the actual reality of the workplace.
