Summary

In this last chapter, we saw the use of ggplot2 in more specific applications, which, in some cases, may require the use of additional packages. We saw how ggplot2 can be used to represent geographical data using the maps package as well as the more sophisticated ggmap package. We then saw how we can realize complex matrix scatterplots with the GGally package and finally how heatmaps can be realized with the tile geometry.
