WHEN WE LEFT Johnny Tart in chapter 2, he was sitting confidently behind his lemonade stand, with newly revised prices and better signage. Johnny’s family was a source of real support as he navigated the hiccups of entrepreneurship. His mom had graciously made an extra trip to the grocery store to buy lemons, sugar, and paper cups. By Thursday afternoon, with temperatures in the high nineties, commuters knew where to find him. They were certainly thirsty. And on Friday, Johnny tallied his sales: $18.75! That’s not bad for four short stretches (remember, it rained on Tuesday!) of daily work!
