Handling operational errors
This category of error handling is covered in the next chapter, which is on management and monitoring. It involves the use of Fusion Middleware Control with the ODI plugin that is part of the Java EE installation components for ODI 11g. This allows the monitoring of ODI execution agents (both standalone and WebLogic-hosted) and also the availability of both Master and Work repositories. There is also a facility to view the log files for the various ODI platform components.
So rather than repeat ourselves, we'll leave further discussion of this topic to the next chapter.
