Working with MySQL

In these step-by-step examples, we'll be adding product and inventory to our PO Processing data mart from a product system database which is hosted in MySQL. We're going to perform a mix of product data consolidation (combining base product and product category information from separate source tables into a single target table) and inventory data enrichment (converting a product number into a name).

To do this we will use two different methods in ODI 11g for joining information from two or more sources.
