The Sort... default property opens a new window where you can specify the sort order. You can choose between three options:
- Data Source order, ascending or descending
- Alphabetic order, ascending or descending
- Manual sort the item in the order of your choice
After defining the default sort option, Tableau will always display the values in the order you specified.
If you have a default sort, a new option appears in Default Properties where you can clear sort.
