Summary

In this chapter, you learned all about how to administer a RethinkDB server cluster by using the web interface and system tables to check the status of the system. You also learned how to create backups, automate the backup process, and recover data from a backup. Finally, we focused on securing the database and deploying it to the Amazon Web Services platform.

In the following chapter, we will wrap everything together by developing a full-fledged real-time web application that uses RethinkDB as the data store.
