Summary

In this chapter, you learned how to quickly install and configure NetScaler Gateway from scratch to serve as an authentication and redirection point for inbound connections to the XenApp environment. Now, with the new gateway in place, users will be able to connect from outside networks via a secure protocol and get redirected to the internal StoreFront (web) servers where they will gain access to the resources assigned to them. The only missing piece before we can mark the access layer as complete is the load balancer, which logically stands between the gateway and StoreFront but is really part of the same NetScaler appliance residing in the DMZ.
