Summary

In this chapter, we discussed setting up our basic virtualization infrastructure, which includes installing RHEV-M and the report server and connecting to various portals such as the admin, user, and report portals. Finally, we deployed our first RHEV-H and configured it to host our virtual machines.

In the next chapter, we will learn how to create a virtual data center and cluster, approve a hypervisor host to a cluster, set up and activate virtual machine data storage, populate ISO to create the virtual machines, and use an export disk to export the virtual machine for backup.
