Appendix A. Resources

On several occasions since releasing Shapeoko in 2011, I’ve had the opportunity to answer the question, “Where did you learn this stuff?” To which, I love to answer: “Everywhere!”

The phrase “Standing on the shoulders of giants” has never been as relevant to anything in my life as it is to CNC. From my father and his roots in manufacturing and machining to all of the wonderful people I’ve met along the way who have been so kind as to share with me their knowledge, which helped me learn that one thing that was crucial to learning the next “one thing.”
