Chapter 10. Moving Files and Settings to Your Windows 7 Computer

Most of us do not like moving. You have to pack things carefully and hope they get to the right place without getting lost or damaged. You may decide to throw some things out before you move because you no longer need them. While things are being moved, you cannot use them. When your belongings arrive at the new place, you have to unpack them and sort them out to the rightful owners. Sometimes you hire professional movers to do the moving, which can take some of the load off of you—for a price. That's sort of how it can be with moving to a new computer. Most of us don't want to do it if we don't have to, and it would be nice if somebody else could do it for us.
