Installing KVM for IBM z Systems with ECKD devices
This appendix describes some of the differences between KVM for IBM z Systems installation on small computer system interface (SCSI) devices, as described in 3.5, “Installing KVM for IBM z Systems” on page 35, and installation on ECKD devices.
Parameter file
It is possible to specify ECKD devices in the .prm file the same way that was done for SCSI devices in 3.4, “Preparing the installation” on page 34.
Example A-1 shows a parameter file that specifies ECKD devices for the installer.
