You read that right. Every company. All the time (unless they're about to go bankrupt). What does this mean to you? It means you should stop looking for job openings and look instead for needs, problems, and challenges!

I can't tell you how many times I've had clients shy away from a company on their Target List simply because they heard that the organization is not hiring. Guess what? Almost every time, I've had a slightly bolder client get multiple interviews at that very same organization, negotiate a great compensation package, and land a great job — all at the same time that other candidates were under the impression that "they're not hiring."
