In this book I have argued that we should allow no special circumstances, no unlucky breaks, to stop us from achieving our aims in life. By identifying where we are now, setting our goals, building a plan and backing it all up with a good insurance plan . . . well, it’s already in the bag really.
The main reason we don’t achieve what we set out to is simply that we don’t follow through by taking the necessary action. We think about making big changes, we dream of acting differently, but then we just keep on going about things in the way we always have.
