ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Magdalena Bak-Maier was born in Poland and moved to the USA as a child. She grew up in New York as an inquisitive, hardworking immigrant kid fascinated by the people she met in the Big Apple. She obtained a BSc in Neuroscience from New York University followed by a PhD from Caltech in Developmental Neurobiology. Following a successful career in research, deciphering the mechanisms that help wire brains in early development, Magdalena decided to combine logic with emotion and her passion for developing people. She made a move to Organizational Development developing academic leaders and staff at Bristol University. ...
