A Primer on Startup Financing

This chapter focuses on the basics of startup financing—the different mechanisms for raising money, the how and why of funding rounds, and the purpose of financing agreements. It’s designed to give first-time founders an introduction to the language of financing, so you can move on to the much more difficult skill of building relationships.
