Imagine you are setting off for a well-deserved break. You drop your car off at the airport, pile the bags onto a trolley and stroll into the departure lounge. Selecting a queue that seems to be moving, you work your way forward to the check-in desk. At that point you hit your first snag. While you may have had a general idea that a destination with sun and a beach is what you have in mind, that's as far as your plans have been formulated.
