The Lustful Gaze

What does it look like?

It’s a sequence that draws special attention to a body part or other object that the character is lusting over by using a moving camera as the POV.

How’s it done?

It’s usually two shots: One shot pushes into the character’s face as he sees something or someone he wants, the other is the reverse as that person walks to the character. As the person gets close enough his gaze is revealed to the audience, usually for comic effect or emphasis.

When should I use it?

Use it for comic effect.
