The Weapon POV
What does it look like?
It should resemble what it would be like if the audience member was holding the weapon from the character’s POV. It could be just the tip of the weapon or as much as the entire weapon and a bit of the arm or hand holding it.
How’s it done?
You can add the weapon in post-production or get creative and rig it to the front of the camera when shooting your sequences.
When should I use it?
It’s a shot to emphasize the weapon being used and its effectiveness against a creature or threat.
