This book is the culmination, though not by any means the end, of a journey begun more than a decade ago to develop effective classroom uses of historical simulations. So many people have had a hand in this journey, not least of all my parents, siblings, teachers, and friends. There are too many to name, but I will, nonetheless, name a few.
