Creating sound resources

Sound resources can be created by navigating to Resources | Create Sound or by pressing Ctrl + Shift + U. The Sound Properties dialog box, which is displayed in the following screenshot, has several important components:

The Load Sound button will bring up a file selection dialog in which an MP3 (*.mp3 ) or Wave (*.wav) file can be loaded. It is recommended that you use Wave files for sound effects and MP3 files for music. This is due to size and audio fidelity considerations.
