Now that the basic configuration of mouse input have been discussed, it can now be integrated into the puzzle game. This will require changes to some of the scripts written in the previous chapter.
In some of these script updates, variables for keyboard input will also be added. These will be explained shortly after the mouse input is integrated.
obj_grid_manager, an update to the Create event needs to be made. One of the updates will make the grid manager accessible through a global variable. The other update in the Create event will track information about which pieces are being highlighted by the mouse and the keyboard.
