Roads are becoming an increasingly important part of large environments in modern games. They play a significant role for both the aesthetics and the functionality of the environment. In this gem, we explore several techniques that are useful for modeling roads in a large game environment like that of The Sims 3 by Electronic Arts [EA:Sims3].
