Escaping the Complacency Trap
What can you do when you find that your company lies in a low-energy zone? Two proven strategies we have identified for unleashing the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral potential of almost any company are what we call slaying the dragon and winning the princess.1 Both strategies emphasize the mobilization of a higher level of productive energy and, in so doing, represent the primary tools for combating the complacency trap, when your company is languishing in a cycle of low positive energy.
