Influencing the conditions so that learning transfer happens

We were discussing follow-up to formal training with a client of ours recently and he told us that it was starting to become a bigger issue in his professional services firm and that he had recently attended a seminar on the subject. When we asked what his takeaway from the seminar was he said that it was quite a complex subject but that he had to start somewhere. You may be in the same boat.
