James Norton is the Head of Investment at one of the most progressive financial planners in the UK, Evolve Financial Planning. A former stockbroker, like many he had an epiphany – he realised that endlessly chasing after hot tips and the next big small cap was an exercise in grand futility. Arguably it helped destroy his clients’ wealth and encouraged investors to take a short-term view of financial planning and it absolutely wasn’t making him a happy man.
