Part III expands our view of what “coaching many” means. So far in this book, coaching many has focused on an expansion of coaching skills from the individual coaching context to the team and group coaching context. Coaching does not take place in a vacuum. The sustainability of the outcomes of many of our initiatives is connected to other initiatives that go on in an organization, such as mentoring and supervision. For example, in working with a team of mid-level managers, the coaching engagement plays one part in enhancing performance.
