Appreciative Inquiry

An alternative approach to traditional problem-solving or process improvement methodology is a form of action research known as appreciative inquiry. It is based on the belief that something is already working well in the organization. Finding and studying it can lead to not only a deeper understanding but also insight into how to overcome the current difficulties and design a more desirable future.
