David Armano is a designer and communicator in Chicago. He has run the popular marketing blog Logic+Emotion for several years, and at the time of this story had about 8000 followers on Twitter. Armano and his wife took in a family friend, Daniela, who was divorcing an abusive husband and desperate for a place where she and her three children could live.
