The stealth or guerilla viral video is now a staple of corporate involvement on YouTube. These videos appear to be produced by an individual, not a company—they don't feature any obvious corporate endorsement. The really successful ones—backed by (sometimes shady) marketing and SEO firms—get hundreds of thousands or even millions of views. Eventually, because of careful investigation by viewers or a corporate media release, a company reveals that it created the video.
