Where to start with Facebook? The very beginning, of course. Let's go back to February 2004 and a messy Harvard dorm room. Mark Zuckerberg is a sophomore studying psychology, but he also does a little programming on the side. He's already created some websites for his classmates. Coursematch enables students to see which other students are enrolled in their classes, and Facemash is a "hot or not" site specifically for Harvard attendees. Along with Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes, Zuckerberg then launches TheFacebook.com, a social network for Harvard students.
