THIS BOOK EXAMINES THE CONCEPT of freedom for individuals and groups in the workplace. In the chapters that follow, I discuss the dynamics between freedom from constraints that stand in people's way of being happier and more productive, and freedom to pursue more satisfying alternatives. Although most of the discussion centers around freedom in the workplace, these ideas are equally applicable to your personal life.

The basic prescription is to put aside excuses that someone overhead is controlling things, and to tackle challenges directly oneself and with others.
