Managing Files and Directories with the Gnome File Manager

To access the Gnome File Manager, double-click on the Home directory icon on the desktop. The file manager looks like Figure 5.12.

If you are used to the Windows Explorer File Manager, you will probably become comfortable with the Gnome File Manager fairly quickly. It looks and behaves very much like Windows Explorer.
