System Requirements
Minimum:
Intel 386sx or compatible CPU
4MB of RAM
My recommended minimum configuration:
Intel 486DX2/66 or compatible CPU
32MB of RAM
At least 1GB of free disk space for a full install (with X-Windows), in which third-party applications will be added on a workstation. Servers may require much more space, depending on number of users and the services the server is providing.
In addition, if you plan to run the X-Windows system, I recommend the following additional minimum system configuration:
Monitor that can do 1024×768 resolution (comfortably)
Supported SVGA video card (see video card list) with at least 1MB of video RAM
Three-button mouse
