BRING DOWN THE BARRIERS BETWEEN YOU AND A GREAT PARTNER

Entering into successful marketing partnerships has never been easier, however you still have to find ways to break the ice and get a conversation started. Everyone is busy, but the only people worth working with are the busy ones.

Most of the most influential people online are very difficult to pin down. They are busy, they have more opportunities than they can possibly tackle, and they don't have a lot of time to consider long-winded proposals. Over the past few years I found myself on this side of the fence after having spent a lot of time in the past trying to pursue those on this side of the fence.

Increased influence for me has meant I've had to ignore many ideas (many of which are fantastic I'm sure) that potential partners have sent me.

So the big question is, how do you get the attention of someone that has a large audience? How do you break down the barrier that separates you from those influential leaders that could benefit from your idea?

Everyone likes to hear from people that make them look good. Even kings and presidents never tire of hearing positive, genuine praise from those that they are surrounded by. It may sound like vanity to some, but from a business perspective, there are few strategies more powerful for getting the attention of a heavy hitter.
