If you are too busy running your business to find time to market your business, then something is wrong. You should be working on your business and not in your business.

The best ideas for solving problems, growing your business, and even marketing your business are likely to come while you are not working.

It may seem strange, but one of the best ways to grow your business might be to stop working so hard.

ABOUT PLAYING AND EXERCISING

Maybe this story that I saw online in a few different places recently will help illustrate my point. One of the richest business owners in the world, Richard Branson, was supposedly asked a simple question: “What can someone do to become more productive?” According to the story, his answer was simply, “Work out.” He claims that he adds an extra four hours of productivity every day because he takes time to exercise.

I can attest to the fact that this is true in my life, as well. At least two or three times per week you'll find me forcing time into my schedule for serious exercise. When I get out of the habit of exercising, my mood, productivity, and energy level drop. Ask anyone that exercises regularly and they'll tell you the same thing. They have more energy, creativity, and productivity when they work out, and when they stop it all starts to slow down. You will never be at your best unless you make time to work up a sweat ...
