Upgrading from CVS and Converting Repositories

Although I haven't touched on CVS very much in this book, it's worth noting that some people do in fact still use it. In a nutshell, SVN is the reworked version of CVS—they're both centralized systems—but SVN just does it way better. Although the most common upgrade path to use would be to go from CVS to SVN, I'll also cover going to Git, and Mercurial, too.
