This chapter will cover a number of different effects and techniques you can use to enhance the animation that you have created. Some of these techniques can be accomplished entirely in Flash, while others may require additional work using After Effects. Some of the effects that we'll be going over are deceptively simple in their execution but can yield maximum impact with how they are perceived. The special effects we will be dealing with are highlights and shadow modeling on a character as well as water, fire, smoke, and debris.
