14.5. Summary
In this chapter, we've built a prototype for Boxtees, an online T-shirt store. The finished product is one Fireworks file that has been created with efficiency in mind. Thanks to shared layers, pages, and symbols, if any changes need to be added to this mockup or even if a new page needs to be added, it can be done quickly and easily. The file is ready to be sliced up and integrated into real-live HTML/CSS to work in a browser.
The examples we used to create the Boxtees store illustrated how Fireworks can be employed as a powerful prototyping tool. We also demonstrated how Fireworks can be a graphic design workhorse, perfect for creating web-ready images that are scalable, flexible, and easy to modify.
