You've now seen how to create a number of popular effects using Fireworks and Fireworks alone. While we've in no way covered every effect possible, we've covered the core set of techniques within Fireworks required to achieve the majority of visual effects possible with the tool. With these core techniques under your belt, you should now be empowered to tackle and understand practically any tutorial you find online.
The same flexibility that makes Fireworks great for layout (e.g., infinitely editable paths and rectangles) makes Fireworks great for effects. Your choices are always reversible and tweakable, which is a very comforting thing. Now, go create something amazing!
